I have a new Flip 4. I'm paying for 5G. I live in San Francisco which is supposed to have full 5G coverage. My speed tests are running around 10mbps download and .04mbps upload. The status says 4G. Isn't this ridiculously low? There are no options in the "connection" area to turn 5G on or off. I can't even find where it says that it's 5G eligible. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.

I'm sorry you've been struggling with 5G with your new phone. Naturally, we want your new device to be a fun addition, and you get the best performance possible. I did review San Francisco with the coverage map: https://www.verizon.com/coverage-map/
While there is lots of 5G coverage in the city, there are areas where 4G LTE is still the primary signal available. So, where you're trying to access it is essential.
I highly recommend checking your Network Mode Settings by having 'Select automatically switch' on. The steps for that can be found here: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-302570/
Additionally, if you're having trouble, I'd suggest performing a Network Settings Reset, the steps of which can be found here: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-302582/
