If you're losing service completely at times, use the "Check Network Status" link in the "Get help from Verizon" box on the right to see if the towers in your area have any reported issues.
Otherwise, slow data speeds have a lot of causes, including but not limited to (these are only what come to my mind):
- network congestion
- being outside of the distance range for 5G signal (5G radio waves do not travel very far)
- poor signal strength (too far away from towers or wrong angle)
- something absorbing radio waves so device can't get signal
- deprioritization based upon your service plan (Unlimited Welcome and prepaid customers are deprioritized to some degree, 3rd party MVNO customers have absolute lowest priority)
- outdated software on device
- device not supporting some or all 5G bands used in area
- hardware problems with device
-------------
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
