Sometime around the iOS 17 update, my phone just had cellular service spontaneously stop working. Went to a verizon store and was told updating to current iOS should fix it. Did this, then the cell service worked for about 1-2 hours, and went dead again.
Verizon store then recommended to reset the network settings. This will occasionally work, giving signal for anywhere between 5 minutes and 2 hours. But ultimately the cellular service always ceases. I have been repeating this over the last couple of weeks, but it seems to work less and less over time.
Phone is barely 1 year old, feel like hardware issues like this are a little early for that timeline.
Is this a common issue? Any known fixes or tests to better determine the underlying problem? Better to have apple look at it instead of verizon people?
