Hi - contrary to the Verizon coverage map, for years now there has been a notorious dead zone for Verizon users in Bethesda, MD 20817. The zone is specifically off Wilson Lane between River Road and Whittier Boulevard. Service is horrendous to non existent along that stretch of Wilson Lane, as well as the blocks intersecting it. Furthemore, if you’re indoors and do not have WiFI calling enabled, you might as well throw your phone in the trash, it’s completely useless.
How does one go about having this region checked by Verizon?
What solutions exist?
To be clear, this is not unique to me or my phone. It’s a ubiquitous problem in the area that should be investigated and remedied. I know several people that will volunteer to be part of this testing.
Will you please advise?
Will you please provide me a name and number of someone from Verizon I can call?
thank you

Verizon strives to provide a stellar experience and reliable service. We are concerned to hear that you are having issues in your area, as are other Verizon users. We would like to look into it thoroughly and find the root cause and solution as soon as possible. To better assist, please tell us a little more. Have there been any recent changes such as new construction in the area? Have you followed and completed the steps in the troubleshooting guide with your device or any devices that share the same account?

Thank you for the time to reply, even if you didn't actually answer any of my questions. To answer yours - there have been some moderate changes in the area, mainly moderate new home construction. That's a phenomenon occurring everywhere and not unique to this particular zone. Besides that, there have been no obvious changes in the area.
Yes, I have tried your troubleshooting guide. The problem is, as I noted previously, this is not a device issue. Rather, there's a larger problem in the area that Verizon needs to address.
Since I now took the time to answer your questions, will you please answer mine?

2) What solutions exist?
3) Will you please provide me a person's name and number of someone from Verizon I can call?
Thank you

There's something over there that's causing that dead zone. It was the same way 15 years ago when we only had 3G. One one side of the river you have the CIA and on the other you have a few unnamed installations as well as NIH & Several other alphabet agencies. That's just how it is in the DMV.
