Degraded signal after upgrading to unlimited plan

I recently upgraded my plan to the Do More Unlimited 5G plan, and my signal strength has plummeted.  Calls cannot be made.  The internet is slow, or just completely unavailable.  Why has this happened?  Prior to upgrading I was on a different Verizon plan, and I never had this issue.  I have been a Verizon customer for many years.
