Sometime last year in 2022 the Verizon data service has been terrible! Funny how it coincides with the 5G rollout. 5G was supposed to give us blistering speeds and tons of data. However, this is not the case. I am paying for 9 devices on my plan and a car payments worth of $ per month to get ripped off now.
Most of the time I have full or almost full bars on my One Plus 9 pro phone showing 5G service. But unless I am outside standing in the perfect open I cannot get any data service at all. At best web pages say they are loading and pause halfway and then may or may not completed after a long delay. Most of the time inside a building the data does not work at all even though the bars are almost full.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I have a feeling it's because the 5G service is a higher frequency which means the signal is blocked by more objects and attenuates much quicker than previous frequencies.
This is absolutely frustrating and ridiculous.
