I’m in East Troy Wisconsin at Alpine Valley amphitheater for three days. So far for the first two days in the venue I get no service, only SOS. However virtually everyone around me has service, I want to send pictures during the concert but NOPE, only those with T-Mobile, ATT others can. Verizon is nowhere near Americas most my reliable network. As a matter of fact if this lack of service happens on one more vacation I’m switching carriers PERIOD!
Hi, this problem used to be a lot more common in stadiums when events were going on because it's due to the local towers by the stadium being overloaded with traffic due to a large number of people all in the same spot. Depending on the venue, different carriers have installed high-band 5G cells in the facility to accommodate the crowds, but who actually has the technology where varies from place to place. Sorry about you being out of luck on this vacation, but even if you switched carriers, you could have the same problem in a different venue.
