I switched my provider from Att to Verizon thinking that I would get better network coverage in and around the Denver CO area. I was wrong. Coverage is only good in the city, if I go outside the city for example Aurora, East Denver, Lakewood, Arapahoe county, Littleton and Castle Rock signal strength I receive is 1-2 bars, terrible. I have a Google pixel 6 pro phone and I'm very disappointed in the service I receive from Verizon.

We never want you to be disappointed. We invest billions in our network yearly. I hope coverage improves in these areas very soon. -Joe

Well it hasn’t. It’s terrible. I feel like it’s 1998 again since switching

We'd love to gather more details, Centennialuser. To clarify, does this happen both indoors and outdoors? How often do you experience issues with your service on a regular day?

I too have terrible network coverage in the Broomfield/Erie/Thorton area. Doesn’t matter if I’m inside or outside I rarely have about one bar. Ive restarted and reset my phone numerous times but to no avail. Honestly considering getting rid of Verizon because of it. I have an iPhone 14 Pro.

I hear you!
That was a typical Verizon response, blah, blah, blah. It was probably an AI bot.
I've had Verizon since 2003. In many parts of the country their network has been excellent even at some ski resorts or national parks, but not in Colorado, especially the Front Range, terrible. We moved here 4 years ago and I haven't seen much improvement. I am mostly in the cities north of Denver: Boulder, Longmont, Fort Collins areas and of course the mountains. But in and around the cities I've mentioned, I can go to friend's houses in Erie, Gun Barrel, Niwot, Boulder, etc. and have to find the perfect location in their house or wander outside to have a connection. It's common to have a dropped call in Erie or Lafayette CO while driving. The city we live we get maybe1 bar inside. 75% of the time, the call has to switch to Wifi. I can walk a couple of hundred to several hundred feet depending on which direction and still have 1 bar. The signal strength is pathetic. At home, I'm basically paying to make WiFi calls and I find when calling outside of the US say to Canada, I have a better connection using WhatsApp than Verizon over WiFi.
So I don't know where they are spending Billions and Billions of dollars, but it is apparently not in Colorado at least not for improved signal strength. But the carriers always seem to have their marketing excuses.

Switched to Verizon from T Mobile. My bad. The service is embarrassingly bad the last few months. 1 bar all the time. Never 5g and hardly ever more than 3 bars. Centennial is the worst but even downtown Denver its awful.
