Hi All,
I live in a Semi Rural area that was located in the middle of two cell towers that were about 7 miles North and South of Me. Although all the Major carriers list mine and the surrounding locations as having coverage they do not. If you stand in my yard and hold your phone up above your head you will occasionally get a single bar of Verizon service that disappears a second later. You need to drive about 3+ miles North or South to get a signal. Verizon is the only carrier that can get any signal ( though unusable) here. The only internet offered out here is through Centurylink and it is pretty spotty and goes out frequently.
About a year ago, a company built a new cell tower based on speculation because they knew this area needs coverage badly.
The cell tower has been sitting there since with no antennas on it. It is available to lease to any provider.
Is there a way to request Verizon to put antennas on this tower? I have the address and leasing companies information. We have spoken to the leasing company that built the tower and they are waiting for a provider to approach them about leasing the tower.
Thanks for any help.
