Ever since upgrading to 5G within area, we no longer have cell service in zip code 30572.
How can we get another cell tower located within our valley to provide cell service?? If you are not within range of home WiFi (WiFi call enabled), NO cell service is available for an emergency.
Are you several miles (i.e. around 10 or more) from the nearest cell phone tower? If so, would recommend contacting your local elected representatives about having legislation for new wireless infrastructure to be added.
If, however, there are towers within 3-5 miles of you, your service should not have completely disappeared with 5G being implemented. Wondering if getting a new SIM card which enables you to access 5G would fix the problem. Or your account needs to be re-provisioned to reflect that there's now 5G in your neighborhood. If your account was set up for 4G access only originally (because that's all there used to be) and your phone is 5G capable, it will lose internet connection every time it picks up a 5G signal because either the SIM card is "stuck in the past" or else the system thinks you only have 4G service, so doesn't know what to do when you get 5G.
