I just switched to Verizon from Xfinity and got a new iPhone 15 pro. We had to call the number to port our numbers from Xfinity after we got home. My husband’s worked just fine. Mine is not working and my new phone has been stuck in SOS mode since completing the port. I checked the port status and it says it’s complete. I was on the phone with reps for 2 hours, and they told me the port department wants to wait 24 hours and then I should get verification. But online it says the port is already complete. I cannot make any calls or even use iMessage to communicate with anyone. The reps had me delete all me eSims and now they can’t get my phone reconnected to the network.

bults1994, thanks so much for this info and my apologies to hear of this. Help is here. Have you attempted to turn off Wi-Fi and restart the phone so that it can connect to the network? Are you using the SIM Card or eSIM activated through Verizon?

I was using the eSIM set up through Verizon. I just set up the phone as it was given to me from the store. One of the reps that I talked to last night when trying to resolve the issue has me delete all eSIMs on the phone, so now there isn’t even a SIM or eSIM on the phone. They were unable to get it reconnected to an eSIM or the network and had to end the call because the call center was closing.

Thanks for sharing all of those details with me, bults1994. We can pick up where we left off in the troubleshooting last night and get your phone up and running. I'll need account access to assist, so please be on the lookout for a private message from us.

I am assuming you bought the new iPhone through Verizon, or else it is an unlocked model, in which case the problem is that the phone is not activated. Someone recently posted about the same issue shortly after porting, and tech support had to "push through the activation" because I guess sometimes the system doesn't want to do it automatically?
If, however, you'd bought the iPhone at your old carrier shortly before leaving them, then the problem is that the phone is locked to your old carrier's network and you'd have to ask them to unlock it.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
