I am having this problem too.. I am beyond frustrated. Constant dropped calls, sos mode . I have called Verizon and they tell me to reset network settings. How frustrating to pay $250 for a bill and never have any service ! (I was told it’s cheaper, not true) And Verizon never assists or offers to discount my bill for the inconvenience!! I can’t send texts, I can’t make calls.. this is absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had.. I am very disappointed..

Verizon CS reps are pretty good about responding to "no service" threads. Would help them if you give your ZIP code so they can see if there's an outage in your area, plus the make/model of your phone so they can do some troubleshooting just in case it's your phone.
I'm assuming that sometimes you have service - what's your signal strength when your phone is not in SOS mode? Field test mode is the most accurate way to find out, but the "bars" on the phone will give you an approximation. If you're only seeing 1 bar most of the time when you do get service, it's not reliable enough for calls to work well and you'd be better off switching carriers unless Verizon is the only provider in your neighborhood. If that's the case, try to get a network extender from Verizon.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

The lady told me to reset my network settings and it did not work. I am upset that I pay for a bill where I never have service most of the time. It’s highly frustrating. My zip code is 89149, and I never ever had this issue until I switched to Verizon. I was also told Verizon is cheaper and that’s not true. So now I am paying when I can never use my phone and Verizon never offers any compensation towards my bill even though I have been experiencing this issue since October.

Same issue here.my zip is 20772 and I can not hold a call in my home.
Please fix it. I have reset, have an extender and restarted the phone. Nothing has worked.
I have a $2000 phone that drops calls and has spotty service. I am about to switch providers.

Jerseygirl916, we understand how concerning it is to experience connection issues and we are here to help. How long have you been experiencing service concerns at your home? Do you experience issues anywhere else or only at home? You shared that you have an extender, do any other devices within your home connect to that extender and do they experience any issues with connection?
