Ever since I upgraded my phone, I haven’t been able to connect to the 5G ultrawide even though my old iPhone 13 Pro Max would connect. This almost stranded me when I was in New York. My plan has UW access I don’t know why it’s not working.
Things I’ve tried:
- Deleting eSIM and refreshing
- Reset network settings

Picture shows that it’s not using any Ultrawide data

Have you checked your new iPhone's band settings? I'd recommend using 5G Auto for automatic best band selection. If that's not helping, then someone at Verizon probably needs to reprovision your account so your phone knows to use all the available spectrum.

I appreciate the swift reply. It’s been crazy because when I upgraded the Phone they changed my plan without telling me so it’s been very frustrating getting my old plan back. I currently have it set to 5G auto and I stay in the city of Houston so it should be always displaying as it did for my old phone. Hopefully I’m able to get this figured out soon since I’m playing for the highest plan.
Also what do you mean by reprovisioning? Perhaps I need to try that.

You're welcome. Reprovisioning your account is something Verizon needs to do with tweaking your account and perhaps getting you a new eSIM. If you're currently on Unlimited Ultimate, you should have the highest priority on the towers and picking up 5G UW shouldn't be an issue in Houston. I can't see your screenshot for now because it's pending moderator approval, but have you tried running a speed test to see what your data speeds are? If you're getting good speed, then maybe it's just that the phone isn't showing the UW icon for some reason but is using it anyway.
Another thing to check is to see if your software and carrier settings are up to date.
