Stuck in SOS mode

My phone has been going in and out of SOS mode for months now. I have gone to the Verizon store and they have told me the only way to fix it after getting a new eSIM is to buy a new phone. Ever since the new eSIM I still go into SOS mode but will show 5G connection or I will only have 1 bar of service. As a paramedic, I rely on my phone to communicate with hospitals, dispatch, and navigate to my runs. I have dropped calls with hospitals and haven’t been able to navigate to runs when it counts because I’m in SOS mode, thank god my partners have other cell carriers that actually deliver on their promise to work when needed. I will be sitting in the heart of down town or in a urban area and be in SOS mode or will have 1 bar of service, when our companies IPAD, which also runs on Verizon cellular has 4-5 bars and it’s an old iPad that has seen better days. I hope Verizon you get this fixed especially for those who rely on your services to serve others. Don’t advertise that we as first responders trust or choose you first if you can’t deliver.

Please send me that note as well. It’s been happening to me for approximately 2 months now. I’ve never had any issues prior to then. Thanks.

Hi. I am too having this same issue. It started when I transferred my line from a business account to an individual account. After ALL of the trouble shooting, Verizon is sending me a network extender. If that doesn’t work, they are going to attempt the E-SIM card.
What is the fix?

Please tell us, how often does your device display SOS mode? What troubleshooting was completed on your phone? Have you noticed an improvement in your service since connecting to the extender?

We are having this issue also. All 5 of our phones have been doing this. We also have had to get new SIM cards but it’s still happening. This can’t be a SIM card issue at this point. It has also been going on a very long time for us but just seems to keep getting worse.
