Why has my Verizon service deteriorated? I only get 1-3 bars and have to use Wifi if I want to connect online. This is a fairly new development and is driving me crazy.

Not only has the technical aspects declined the actual customer reps are horrendous

I am having this issue too and I am not sure why.  I depend on my cell phone for all communication and I need to stay connected, so when I have issues with the network and connection it is a problem.  Will the network be upgraded or worked on so this issue does not continue?

@Jesseditor We always want our customer to have the best service available to them. Thank you for reaching out for options. You mentioned using wifi, is this something that only happens indoors? If not do you experience this everywhere you go?

I did a "chat" with another customer rep who told me that for another $10.00/month I can get better service. I am going to transfer my service to another carrier where I'm sure I can continue to get mediocre service for much cheaper.

How far do you have to travel before you notice an improvement in service? Does this happen both indoors and outdoors? What signal do you see on your phone when you encounter these issues?

izzy, i have to go about half a mile to get good service.  yes, it happens both inside and outside.  i usually have 1 bar, sometimes 2.  my verizon using neighbor has the same issue.  can we get another tower?  this is a populated area!  thanks!

I chatted with a customer service rep who told me I needed to pay $10.00/month more to get better service. I do not want to pay more each month so I will find a less expensive carrier.

Same here.  I am actually researching other networks to switch.  I have been with Verizon over 15 years and live in the same area.  In the past year (especially this year) calls sometimes will not go through, calls drop, areas in my county where there is no service at all.  Most of the time only showing 1 bar in my house now.  Very hard to run a business without services! So frustrating.

I "chatted" with customer service. If you pay $10.00 more per month you will get better service.
