I spent 3.5 hours at the Verizon store yesterday and upgraded to a LG V60. The rep was on hold for an hour before reaching Tech Support and was informed a nationwide technical issue was preventing the activation of 5G phones. Since my old phone was deactivated in the store I was left with 2 dead phones. I was told the new phone might activate overnight, but it did not.
I'm hoping this issue is related to why I spent 4 hours yesterday trying to activate a 5g moto mod with no success. Hopefully gets resolved soon.
