Anyone having issues with Gear S3 Classic schedule/calendar?

I purchased my Gear S3 Classic back in mid January. I love the device with the exception of 1 issue. I cannot get the calendar/schedule function to work on the device. My watch is paired to my Galaxy note 8 and everything else works fine, notifications, calls, music, contacts, etc. Whenever I click on the schedule from the watch, it just blinks and does nothing. If I try to load the schedule as a widget, I receive a message on the device that says, "Unable to load data, tap to retry." Upon retrying, it does the same thing over again, Any feature involving the schedule/calendar does not work. I've tried factory resetting the watch twice, but still no luck. Unfortunately, you cannot uninstall the schedule app and reinstall. My calendar works fine on my phone and I am using the default calendar app that came on the Samsung Note 8. This is very frustrating to have a $300.00 plus device that doesn't do what it's supposed to. Any help would be appreciated.
