Dangerous USB Charger

My son went to unplug this Verizon USB charger from the wall and it came apart exposing live prongs (see pic). There is nothing but a small black tab holding the 110V prongs onto the charger - very dangerous. It is still listed for sale on the Verizon website but appears to be out of stock, hopefully for good.

The very same thing happened to my charger. This is indeed a very dangerous scenario. I am going to the Verizon store and I would expect them to replace it with an equivalent. I know I paid $30-35 for the charger and thought I was buying a safe, quality unit!

We will see how Verizon handles this!
