Gizmo Gadget turned off and lost . Help!

I know this is probably a lost cause. My daughter had her gizmo one day. ONE DAY! and of course the battery died. She then managed to lose it between our vehicle, the grocery store  and home. Now because its dead we cannot locate it. We have been searching the last 3 days. Is there ANYTHING we can do to locate it?
