Since being home I haven't used my watch. I started wearing it again last week and realized it is only giving me notifications when it is connect to my phone via bluetooth. Before, everything worked. My phone could be off and my number share would work. When I started using it again, it was like connecting a brand new watch, but what setting am I missing. I've been paying Verizon for the service all along - none of that changed except me using the watch.
