Verizon Wireless Charger

I am on my second Verizon wireless charger (sine April 2015). The charger works great for a few days and then begins to slow down in picking up the phone. Then it just stops altogether. Anyone else with this problem?

I have had a few Vzw chargers that were half-way or not at all compatible with some phones.  I suggest going back to an OEM charger.  What phone is being used?
