My company has Verizon but they will not provide protection plan for my new phone. Can I get protection plan for that phone and pay for it on my personal account?

Having the right protection for your device is critical Jynxman14. I can certainly understand your position on the topic. After all, our wireless devices is one of the most used devices in our day to day lives. Just to confirm, is your new phone on your company's account or on your personal account and they reimburse you for your wireless cost? What model device do you have? If you have an iPhone, for example, then you can purchase Apple Care for the device and it won't effect your company's account billing.

You can always just go get a Squaretrade warranty for your cellphone.

I have a Costco membership so I ended up getting coverage at Squaretrade.
