I'm a new Verizon customer and am hoping to find some help resolving ongoing issues with my new service. I recently purchased the iPhone 15 Pro Max directly from Verizon, but my experience has been frustrating so far.
Right from the start, during the initial activation call, I was repeatedly told my device was SIM locked to another carrier, even though I bought it brand new from Verizon. While customer service was able to activate my main line each time, this issue has persisted.
Additionally, I've been unable to activate the Call Filter feature. The app consistently tells me I'm not on the Verizon network, despite being connected to Verizon's 5G with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth disabled.
To make matters worse, when I tried to add a second line using IMEI2, I again encountered the SIM lock issue. After multiple calls, Verizon finally activated it, but the line keeps getting removed from my account.
I've spent a lot of time on the phone with customer service, and while they've offered temporary fixes, none of the solutions have been permanent. It's been a very disappointing start to my Verizon experience.
I'm wondering if anyone else in the community has encountered similar problems with a new iPhone 15 Pro Max on Verizon? Any insights or suggestions on how to resolve these issues once and for all would be incredibly helpful.

Jesse I’ll send the message but I have went thru this process about 35 times and I never get any further than before. My second number to disappear I’ve had about 14 of them and when I keep adding and fixing features on and off my account now it’s got my bill double but it was the first month and it’s supposed to be less than the first month but I’m sending a message now

From what I can tell, your iPhone has been blacklisted for some reason. This is why the phone just quits working and "deletes" your number. What carrier does the phone say it's locked to? If it is not Verizon, you'd have to contact the other carrier and request a blacklist removal. You will have to provide all the evidence you can to prove you are the rightful owner of the phone to be successful.
If, however, you purchased this phone second-hand or refurbished, it's entirely possible there is some shady past history associated with the phone, in which case you're out of luck and should demand a refund from Verizon.
If the iPhone is saying it's locked to Verizon and they won't remove the blacklisting even if you are the only and original owner of the phone...get the FCC on it. Your account should show your purchase order from Verizon for at least a year from the date of purchase, and the other relevant details ought to be somewhere in your account to back you up too, since you bought the phone through Verizon. Good luck.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
