Upgraded to a Galaxy S23 Ultra and went through the activation/transfer process from a Galaxy S7. Now there is an "Activation Incomplete" notification on my Galaxy S7 phone. The S23 Ultra seems to be working fine so do not know why there is that "Activation Incomplete" notification on the S7. Called the number provided with the notification and after checking stated the S23 was activated.
So the question is how can the notification on the Galaxy S7 be removed?

Contacted Customer Support and despite literally hours over a couple days, they could not help resolve the matter of getting rid of the "Activation Incomplete" message on my old phone. Therefore, just had them close the matter. However, after further checking online myself and trial and error, discovered that putting the old phone in the Airplane Mode will result in that "Activation Incomplete" message to no longer appear.
Since the old phone was going to be used only over WiFi and phone/data service was disconnected/transferred to my new phone, it doesn't matter that the old phone stays in the Airplane Mode permanently. And won't have to deal with that irritating "Activation Incomplete" message appearing.
Essentially, nobody in this forum or Customer Service could assist.
