I recently converted my prepaid mobile account to Postpaid, keeping the same number (all with Verizon).
I have spent the last 20+ days trying to “Link Services” - and connect the mobile number to a newly registered email address.
When I click “link services”, I’m prompted to enter the mobile number, the order info, or account id. No matter which I click and submit, I’m always brought to a screen asking for my zip code and account pin.
It took me 20 days to attempt every combination of PIN/Zip Codes I could’ve possibly used. None worked.
I’m now begging for help here.
1) Zip Code: I’ve lived in the same zip code for over a decade. Somehow, my zip code isn’t registering as accurate in your system. I know this because I’ve tried “paying my bill without logging in” (which only requests a number and a zip), and i get rejected.
2) Account PIN: i don’t remember ever creating an account pin. I have tried “resetting my pin” by calling the number on screen. I get sent to an automated system that texts me a link to reset my pin. It prompts me for my zip code, to authenticate “me” before resetting the pin… and then I’m in a doom loop again. Because apparently my zip code changed in Verizon’s system but nobody else’s..
Please help.

Quick update - the zip code does work for “Make a One Time Payment”, but not when I try to authenticate during the PIN reset. Classic 🙂
