Customer Service for Xbox Promotion

I chatted with sales on 12/25/23 and they mentioned a promo about an Xbox and  an Amazon Gift Card with the Gigabit Plan. I was convinced to switch from Cox Internet and scheduled an appointment for Today 12/30/23 from 8am to 9am. I saw that my account was on hold, so I called several times to customer service to take care of the matter and I was assured that everything is good and on their end my account is not on hold and my appointment is confirmed. I understand the holidays and human error, but at least give me the courtesy that my appointment was canceled or ”a notification that we can’t continue with the appointment until you fix the hold status.” And here I am now wondering if they are coming in at all to install the internet. It is 9:35am 12/30/23, no update at all. If this promotion doesn’t go thru I am cancelling the service. It is one thing I really don’t appreciate about Verizon and that is their customer service quality.
