Fios Activation Failure - 4 hours and no resolution

Verizon, your customer support went downhill. Going between customers service, tech support, and repair services in circle with no solution. I have ordered Verizon Fios service last month for activation date on 8/15/2024 and noted that I can activate any time before that. On 8/10/2024 I spoke to Verizon since I did not get router yet and come to find it was not even shipped. I asked to move my activation date to 8/12/2024 and was told I can activate anytime, no need to move the date. Monday comes, self-online activation fails with error ACT01.  After 3 hours of support, I find out that I was given a different account number not linked to my online login, that my router order now has a UPS Ground tracking but still not shipped, and they are unable to activate using my own router, they don't seem to know what the issue is, and unable to activate on the back end. I was told to wait until 8/15/2024 and my service should work, I have little confidence in that, I'm not even able to see the account number they gave me under my profile. Four hours now and Verizon has officially given up on me. Wasted my sleep 12am-4am trying to activate internet. Big disappointment, not to mention that a ticket was opened and resolved without actually my issue being resolved.
