Fraud Department suspended my service for NO REASON!!!!

Just became a new Verizon customer about 2 weeks ago. Initially bill was completely wrong didn't waive connection fees as promised. Finally had 1 very nice customer service rep who fixed everything. Gave me a promotion on a iPad mini 7 and wrote up order to be delivered in a few days.

One hour later I received an email stating that the order was pending that I had to call Verizon Fraud Department.

I called them and asked why they stopped the order.  They said "Sorry we cannot confirm your identity and we are very sorry but there is nothing you can do."  I asked to speak to a Supervisor. About 2 minutes later the call was disconnected and when I tried to call back ALL MY 4 NUMBERS WERE DISCONNECTED!!

I called them back immediately going through 611 and asked why they disconnected all my lines and they said the same thing as before:  "Sorry we cannot confirm your identity and we are very sorry but there is nothing you can do." I asked if I could go to a store and show my license or whatever else they needed but just like a robot they kept on saying the same thing and eventually hung up on me.

I TRIED TO FILE A CORPORATE COMPAINT BUT GUESS WHAT?? I HAD TO SPEAK WITH FRAUD DEPT FIRST!!!

I WAS FORCED TO GO TO ANOTHER CARRIER SO I CHOSE AT & T.  Of course I had to pay the restocking fee even thought this error was made by Verizon. And of course all the hours, frustration, and money that went with it.

Bottom line is I hope Verizon Corporate actually reads these Verizon discussions because if they do I hope they realize HOW MUCH BUSINESS THEY ARE LOSING BECAUSE OF THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT!!!!

I just experienced this 2 hours ago, I've had my number for years and it's saying fraud a suspended my lines. Traveling, is there anything I can do?

This happened to me, and I was shocked and lost. I haven't dealt with anything like this in my entire life. Is there a solution I can appeal to? I was delighted with the service and the savings I received. If there's anything I can do, I'm all ears.
