I'm having problems switching my straight talk phone number over to verizon.help pls

@vzw_customer_support, shouldn't the OP contact the Porting Department, with the number ending in 7095? Unless there have been some reorganizations within Verizon lately... I cannot post phone numbers on the forums anymore.
@Hurgle2246, a few things to investigate.
1) Make sure your phone is unlocked. If it is locked to Straight Talk, you'll have to get them to unlock it. If they can't, then you'll need to buy a new phone before you can use Verizon.
2) If you have any outstanding balance with Straight Talk, get it taken care of because owing money can cause a carrier to hold your number. Otherwise, contact them to make sure they released your number.
3) If everything's clear with your old carrier and your phone is unlocked, then call Verizon and ask for the Porting Department, as I don't know if Inside Sales is the correct one. There can be other things like an eSIM needing to be manually activated on Verizon's end, or some kind of syncing issue which needs to be debugged.
