 Log in to your My Verizon account using a browser or the My Verizon app on a mobile device.   From there you can select Account and get the number there.  If you don't have a login account yet, you'll probably have to talk to an agent either here via private message or by calling 800-922-0204.

This is not helpful. Can you please provide the location of the Account number? So far, all I can find is a non-copy/paste account number on a bill. Is this the only location you can see your account ID?

I tried to upload an image, but it blocked it.

When I login to my account, the account number is on the top left, underneath the description of my phone.

bligblah, We will be glad to assist you. We understand how important it is to be able to access your account details. When logged in on your My Verizon account online, to view your account number, select Account>Account Settings>Account Settings Overview. Your account number will be listed at the top below where it shows "My Profile".
