We signed up almost 2 weeks ago. We were PROMISED a $200 amazon gc for signing up for home internet that was supposed to be $40 per month because it was 50% with our home & phone plan.
Just like ALL the other posts-you follow the redemption instructions-but there is NO reward anywhere on the account where list it should be. I have spoken with customer service via chat who have "documented" on the account & "escalated" it. I was supposed to hear from someone days ago-yet nothing. I opened up a support ticket which I was supposed to hear back within a 1. Not a single response. I attatched a PDF with all the issues, I attatched my previous chat-it couldn't have been more simple.
So then I opened ANOTHER support ticket 2 hours later. It's been well over a hour and no response. All I have gotten are now 4 different texts from different ppl stating "this is hannah, this is ron, this is jake how may we help you?" What is the point of the support ticket if you can't read, you don't see to email me, and your customer service has no idea whats going on. They asked me "whats the issue?" I said READ THE SUPPORT TICKETS!
We also cancelled the device protection on my husbands phone-they didn't take it off and it's on the bill. We were promised NO activation fees on our devices. The store charged us activation fees- OVER $300 worth, THEN on the Verizon bill, OVER $200 in activation fees. During the chat the rep said, "once the bill is posted, we can manually remove them and also change the internet to the $40."
I included ALL OF THE ABOVE info in the support tickets and they can't seem to figure it out-the account has these notes, i included the notes and they just can't figure it out.
Then they just continue to lie about the $200 amazon card and the $200 for switching over. I included screenshots of over 50 customers saying they were never awarded their GC's and were told the exact same thing.
Get it together Verizon.
