New service plan and phone

I got a new plan and phone with Verizon. I have straighttalk and I'm having a hard time getting anyone at the 800 number to understand anything I'm saying. I can't link my phone number because it's hasnt transferred yet because verizon needs the transfer pin but no one knows how to put it in. Everything I enter in my order number and location code in it says check the number and try again. I've tried using a different email address and I get the same thing. I do not know what to do. Can somebody please help me and piint me in the right direction

If at all possible, get to a Verizon store and have an employee do the port in for you.  Straight Talk is reportedly more challenging to port out from than some other carriers, so trying to do it on your own could turn into a real nightmare.  One former Straight Talk customer ended up porting their number into the void and it couldn't be recovered by either carrier afterwards!

You will need your Straight Talk account number and a valid transfer PIN from them in order to port into Verizon.  Transfer PINs usually expire within a few days, so if it's been a little while, get a new one.  Make sure any contractual obligations you had with Straight Talk were fulfilled, otherwise they could hold your number.  Good luck.
