Number not fully brought over to Verizon after 5 days

We brought over 3 phones from AT&T on Saturday.  2 of them came over immediately, 1 moved from iphone to android and is still not fully brought over.  Still can only call out and send/receive texts only from Verizon users.  Why would this take so long?  Is this actually normal?

Welcome to the Verizon family, TexasMDTM. We're sorry to hear one of your lines is not able to receive calls and text yet. All calls and text will work once the port is fully completed. We recommend checking your port status here to find out what's going on, http://spr.ly/66072xzjh. It can also take up to 24-hours for a port in to complete.

It still just says pending.  We're past the 24 hour mark so what can we do?

It now says Account Confirmed with instructions to turn the phone off for a few minutes then back on.  We have done that and it still will not receive calls or outside-Verizon texts.  There is an RCS section under settings that still says the number is being verified.  This is super frustrating.  This is my daughter's phone and we cannot communicate with it.

If this is the line which used to have an Android phone but now is an iPhone, I think it's because Google (which runs the Google Messages app using RCS) is stuck trying to connect to the old Android phone.  I'd try the tips from this Reddit thread:

@TexasMDTM, I'm so sorry, I got things mixed up since you said the line in question used to be an iPhone but is now an Android.  You will need to deregister the number from iMessage to get texts to work, then follow the instructions from the Reddit thread (or Google for "RCS stuck verifying" in order to get tips for how to get the Android phone to work with RCS).

There is a useful forum thread or knowledge hub article somewhere in these forums about making the switch from iPhone to Android and having texts work again.  Please post back if you still need help and I'll try to do some digging if needed.

If the line in question still hasn't ported over, contact Verizon's Porting Department at 888-844-7095.  I don't know if maybe they need to redo the port, get you a new eSIM, add the phone to the DMD database, or something else on Verizon's end.

Thanks so much for the updated details, TexasMDTM. With it showing complete but still not working, we'd like to take a closer look into what's going on and ensure your daughter has a working phone. We are sending you a Private Message to discuss this further.

I am having the same problem! I switched to Verizon on April 30th and have not been able to receive any external calls or texts since. Its been over 5 days! Port status says "Account confirmed". I have powered my phone off and on to no avail. This is not a good way to greet new customers.

Hello Heinz666, when your port status says confirmed, you can use the link below and enter your number. This should give you a more detailed explanation of your port status and what needs to be done.
