we just upgraded our son’s phone but would like to delay activation for 5 months until Christmas so it can be a gift for him. I saw a post here from 2021 stating the new phone must be activated within a certain time. However, while chatting with a Verizon agent today, my understanding was that there was no problem delaying activation. Can someone confirm which policy is correct? Thanks!
