Please help me

I'm trying to register with my phone number to be able to pay my bill online instead of having to go 20+ miles out to a verizon store every time I need to top up.

When I do it through the phone, an AI makes me enter a code that's too many digits too long to speak to a real person, it sends me 6 digits, I need 4.

When I do it through the website it tells me my phone number doesn't actually exist when I'm actively texting from it.

What do I even do? At the verizon store they told me they can't help me and I have to do it this way, but this way doesn't work.

Apologies about that link, Synthbass. Are you the account owner of the Verizon Wireless line? We can send a Private Note to gain access to the account and then work to help get that online registration completed. From there we can get it all setup to make sure you are able to save some gas on those store visits. This link has steps on how to register but we can make sure you are all setup once in Private.

That's strange.  Is your Verizon service for a mobile device, Fios, 5G Home Internet, or something else, or maybe some combination of those?  Sounds like your My Verizon account wasn't created quite right.

What Verizon service(s) do you have?  If your cell phone is NOT with Verizon and you "registered" your cell phone number with the system, then the problem with your My Verizon account is that you've gotten a guest account which can't have anything linked to it.  Fios customers have to register on My Verizon with their User ID associated with the Fios account.  If you've got 5G Home Internet, you must register on My Verizon using the "phone number" of the internet gateway.

If trying to make a new My Verizon account doesn't work at all, then someone with Verizon will have to delete your existing guest or other My Verizon accounts and then you can start over with re-registering.

Hello Synthbass. We want to check with you to see if you have been able to sign up for your My Verizon account? Here's a link that may help: http://bit.ly/xB4iTc

The OP has said the link you posted doesn't work.  I just checked for myself, and it doesn't work for me either...gives a VERY old Verizon logo dead link error page saying "service unavailable".

The problem has now been solved, Deb helped me and got every problem I had sorted out.

For people with the same issue, my online profile was not completely set up and I was given the proper links to set it up correctly. Everything works as intended and I have no more problems.

Thanks Deb! You rock! ๐Ÿค˜

Thanks for sharing.  I've not heard of the problem with having an online profile being incomplete before.  Someone must have not entered all your information from your ID when they were signing you up.  I'm putting this into my notes for future reference, because I see questions about My Verizon accounts not working pretty regularly.  Usually it's because someone signed up a little too early and got a guest account instead, and simply waiting until one's service is active to make another account works, but your situation is another possibility to consider.
