I switched to Verizon from Mint on April 30th, hoping for better network and support. I've been unable to receive any external calls or texts since. Support keeps telling me to keep waiting longer. Port status is at "Account Confirmed". I've rebooted my phone countless times. Is this a way Verizon greets new customers!?

Finally, after 7 days of waiting and an hour on the phone with an agent they reached to someone in the Port department (whom you cannot call) and that person pulled a lever and port flipped to 'Completed' state and its all working now...
