Porting a number to Verizon

I was trying to bring in my daughter’s line from consumer cellular to be ported over and what happened is that it got ported to the wrong phone which replaced my husband’s phone and his number got deactivated and overridden with the number we are are port over.  We cannot access the account even because my husband was the account manager and the number that was deactivated was the number that was managing the account.   This is a HUGE mistake and my husband needs to get his number back.  We talked to tech support for 4 hrs and went all the  way to level 2 support but once we hit 8pm EST they hung up on us and we don’t have any update on our case.  What can be done here and who do we need to contact to get the number back and be able to access our account?
