I'm trying to reach out a Verizon rep through the chat but its not letting me. It says I need to "restore my account" first; which then takes me to another chat. I ask that chat to let me speak to a human and then it asks me to login. It does this over and over and over, and does not connect me to an agent.
The reason I need to speak to an agent is because I had $300 added to my bill due to unreturned internet equipment. The reason it needed returned is because it was defective and did not work at my apartment. I was given a replacement which works just fine. When I got the replacement I was told that I would receive a return shipping label in the mail and that they cannot accept returns in store.
I've been waiting to receive a return shipping label for my defective equipment and I never received one.
Now I have a $300 charge on my bill for the unreturned equipment which makes it so my bill is not possible to be paid because thats now significantly out of my normal monthly budget of $200 for all devices ($200 regular charges + $300 unreturned equipment charges = $500 for this month).
Since I was unable to pay my bill this month all of my lines got disconnected and a $20 fee per line was added to my bill, now raising it by another $80. All for a mistake on Verizons part.
Please just get these charges off my account and send me the return shipping label so that I can move on from this. I cannot and will not agree to these added charges that are at the fault of Verizon.
