I just recently turned 18 and took ownership of my phone plan not too long ago. I have been trying to login and get my phone number linked to my account, but every time I try the app always says, "That mobile number cannot be linked."

If someone else used to have your number on their account and was managing it, it's probably that your number is still listed as being under the other account. Have you tried asking them if they can unlink your number from their account? Otherwise, it's a Verizon IT issue.

Being able to have your own plan and account is always a good thing. To try and get a few more details to understand where you're running into trouble, are you getting this message when trying to respond to a Transfer Your Service email? Are you trying to sign-in to My Verizon or register with My Verizon? If you could share a few more details so I can get a sense of where you're having trouble I'd apppericate it.
