After merging my home internet account and my wife's mobile account into one Verizon ID we can no longer sign in. The password is accepted but there is an interstitial verification screen that reads:
Check your email.
We sent an email verification to
Please select the "Verify email" link within 5 minutes to continue
There is no email address shown and no email is ever received in any of the email accounts we had associated with either our mobile or home accounts. The password reset flow works but the verification issue remains. Without verification no account info is accessible. Chat support is unusable without being fully signed in.

@vzw_customer_support, the problem isn't that the OP can't merge their accounts, it's that they cannot login anymore after merging their accounts. The system is asking for some email address to be checked which they do not have.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

I have exactly the same problem — unable to login after One Verizon ID was created. Talked to 3 different support teams for hours and still can’t resolve. Very frustrating. Will try again tomorrow.
