I need some help here.
I purchased a TCL 30v 5G prepaid kit from Walmart.com in October. Attempted to activate it this week.
Provided the IMEI over the phone, SIM card was shipped because rep couldn't redirect for SIM Pickup in Corporate store.
Be mindful, I have purchased the same exact kit and phone before and it has been activated with no issues for over 2 years.
The current device is coming back as unable to activate and directions to return the phone to the store for scanning is being sent as a text message to the phone.
Went to the corporate store for potential override and what a horrible experience this has been. Spoke to Walmart.com and receipt is there, the merchant sold it fair and square and got paid. Ran a CheckMend report and it's not on any blacklist database from the global databases.
Verizon reps have... Not called back, The device activation and prepaid team can't resolve. But I see on my account three phones added , two of which have this devices IMEI show two different phone numbers and ICCID's. and another line with the number or MDN that it's supposed to be with some random IMEI.
I do not know why this is becoming such an issue. This device is NOT lost or stolen. I even voiced I could provide the receipt from Walmart.com and still no dice. Now I am seeing device activation charges and added amounts for the plans. But this device is not working. I don't understand why this is an issue. If the IMEI is NOT stolen... Why can this blacklist not be undone? and why am I being charged all of this .
