Will I be billed if I never activated my phone lines?

I signed up for a Pre-Paid plan with the  'Bring Your Own  Phone' option.

Meanwhile, I had to order and wait a couple days for Verizon SIM cards.

I received them and found out while trying to activate them that  my previous phone carrier has a policy to keep phones locked , even if they're paid off, for a certain number of days.

So I am unable to switch these phones to Verizon at this time.

Will the credit card I provided at the time of my plan sign-up start being charged  even though I haven't activated my SIM Card or phones through Verizon yet?

That is a good question. The SIM would need to be activated for the device. You may contact prepaid care cusotmer service at 888-294-6804 to ensure of this.

I was in fact billed.

Because I was never able to transfer my numbers to Verizon, they have never given me a customer number/ID, so I can't even chat with an agent at this point. I log in with my email address but it shows that I'm a guest.
