E-Gift Card Trouble

Hate to call this a scam since it is more likely an inept sales associate, but I was just robbed of $900 bucks.

Saleswoman stated I would receive a $300 card for each transferred line.  No card.  Called customer service, what do you know.  “That’s only good when you BROP Bring Your Own Phone.”  This is NOT how it was sold, and I am not confused.  Way to leave an immediate sour taste in a new customers mouth.  Way. To. Go.

I am preparing to file a complaint with the BBB for both Verizon and the store selling their product.  I’m sure they’ve had plenty over this.

Therein lies the trouble.  I have the original paperwork, but this is of course not on there, so that’s on me.  I have not stopped into the store to speak with them, but I can only assume this was a sales agent not knowing the specifics.  I was told that these cards would “magically” appear after a few payments subsequent to transferring the lines.  Although I asked them about this repeatedly, and they confirmed multiple times, I did not specifically ask for a paper confirmation.  My word, their word.  However, as I stated, I am not in the slightest confused about what was said.  The store is an Authorized Verizon dealer called Viktra.  I can share location and the agents name privately if desired.
