I have read many negative reviews about the HUM device after I was talked into purchasing one at the Verizon store...High cost, poor performance, limited usefulness, disappointing in general.
BUT I have never heard this one:
My husband finally had time to install the device in my car (2014 Audi Q5) and discovered that IT WAS NOT ABLE TIO BE INSTALLED IN MY PARTICULAR CAR. Apparently the sales line that "it fits every car" was simply Wrong. We called the HUM company They told us that an adapter is available which will help it fit my car. Back to the Verizon store (Southington CT ). No such device exists. No option but to keep and PAY for something for years WE WILL NEVER USE. Time to find another cellular provider.
reginafmcnamara, we would never want to lose you as a customer. I am disappointed to hear about your experience with the HUM. It is a great device, according to HUM website http://spr.ly/6585DrnQ3 it is compatible with your car. What happens when you try to plug it in?
