Is the T1114 still sold?

1. Is the T1114 still sold as of 12/18/2016?

I have read were at one time it was discontinued.

2. If #1 is YES, is there any reduction in download speed when viewing streaming video?

Using my phone's Hotspot I get perfect video speeds for about 15 seconds then can see the bandwidth being reduced to where the video no longer plays smoothly.  I have an excellent signal to the tower and this reduction happens at all times of the day/night.  I am not near my data limit.

Try moving your hotspot closer to windows and recheck. With that high SNR you can probably get the RSRP under -80 and 5 bars. All I know about the antenna ports is what I can find on Google which leads me to be wary of the antenna ports because Amazon isn't pleased with the Antenna referenced in the user guide.

If you're considering this kind of investment, have a look at the Craddlepoint and Pepwave M2M solutions at the 3G Store.

Yes it is!   This page shows the current product is SKU# NOVT1114V.

A normal postpay account shouldn't have speed reductions as described.

Please quantify excellent; what is the received signal strength and SNR?

Signal strength:

RSRP -87, RSSNR 22, 4 out of 5 bars.

Do you know anything about the two antenna ports on the T1114?  I see Verizon does not sell the flat panel external antenna anymore.  What type of antenna works on these two ports?

Thanks for the 3gstore link.  The Cradlepoint 4G router looks like the way to go!

Signal strength is as good as it gets.

You're welcome!  I think you'll be happy with either one! Also, look through the postings at DSL Reports, http://www.dslreports.com/forum/verizonw. I've seen talk about both although I don't remember from where.
