Has anyone else had a lot of usage data on their jetpack? We use our jet pack to process credit card payments with our business. In one month, my normal usage was maybe max .4 GB. This one month, it went upto 1.2GB. It shows on 1 day we used .5 GB. Is there away to find out what exactly was used? I'm looking at the usage & it says maps/navigation but we don't use it for that. Can someone be connecting to our jetpack & using our data time?
Log into your MyVerizon account and view usage, then click on he link for the "data utilization " that will tell you what was being used and when. (you can view the usage by date)

No. You need to setup your own data usage monitors in advance of any overages in order to capture the details of any network communication. All you can do is setup a monitor and hope that the traffic continues so you can properly capture what is going on and draw conclusions from there.

Yes, as long as the Jetpack is on it will be vulnerable to anyone who knows the password or how to discover it. However, data usage scenarios are rarely tracked back to malicious users or external threats. Its much more common that one of your own personal connected devices is running updates or some kind of service that has gotten stuck in a loop of some kind.
You can check the connected devices area of your Jetpack if you ever want to confirm what IP addresses have been assigned. With this info you should be able to track down your connected users and see if anything is connected that shouldn't be.
Your jetpack will use date whenever it is on, regardless if you are actually using it or even connected to it. This seems incongruous and makes no sense but that's the way it works. Make sure no one leaves it on by accident or you will continue to rack up charges....Thanks Verizon ! (NOT)
