I have had our Network Extender for 2 years with no problems until yesterday when it stopped working. The SYS blinks red and the GPS is solid red. I followed the troubleshooting techniques and the results don't change. Please advise. Thanks.
What were your troubleshooting techniques?
Did you unplug everything? extender, modem, router? Plug in modem, wait, plug in router, wait, plug in extender, wait (sometimes quite awhile for it to find gps)
According to page 5 of the user guide, solid red GPS LED is a GPS antenna issue. Examine the cable connecting the GPS antenna to the NE. If you can, disconnect the antenna cable from the NE unit and then reconnect it. This will reseat the antenna’s electrical connection to the NE. A blinking RED System LED is the normal startup condition, it may continue until the GPS gets a signal.
