Tablet won't connect to Verizon network

Recently bought a nextbook and bought the $20/1GB prepaid plan but I cannot get it to connect. Please help

"Nextbook"? There is no such thing as a "nextbook" for sale on the Verizon Wireless website. They used to sell netbooks (small laptops), but that hasn't been for a few years I believe. I guess it is possible that Walmart might still be selling those devices.

Wal Mart sells a "Nextbook" tablet (8" and 10.1" versions) that is advertised to be Verizon-compatible.
