A Number of Apps not available on Android Market for Verizon Users

Hi guys/gals,

I posted a while back that I could not find the Official Google Voice App on the android market for HTC Eris. I did search a few times and nothing came up until several hours later.

NEW UPDATE: I have noticed that a bunch of apps which is available on the HTC Hero from Sprint (my previous phone) is not available on my HTC Droid ERIS (my current phone)

1) Google Voice (Available now)

1) Power Manager Pro (Power Manager (Lite Version) is available. Pro version still not available)

2) Ebuddy (Still not available)

3) Sweeter Home (Only useful for Motorola Droid. Still not available)

Anyone has anything else to add to the list? 

Anybody know why this is happening?

Hi, Jzanick.

It could be for a load of reasons. Maybe it's not fully prepared for 2.0. Perhaps it's a Market error. It could be because some programs, (Such as sherpa) are propietary to a certain Network (Such as T-Mobile).

My best suggestion is to wait it out. GV does sound a bit odd, seeing as how I don't know why it wouldn't be available fof the Droid/Eris, but I'm more than certain it will be.

I found all but Pwer management Pro, Not sure why you would Sweeter home, I already uninstalled...

Its definitely not a problem with the HTC Eris SDK because it should be the same as my previous phone (HTC HERO).

Some of the one mentioned are really good apps but are not available on HTC ErIs (and possibly on the Moto Droid.. somebody has to confirm) but is available on the G1 and HTC Hero:

Sherpa is currently exclusive to T-Mobile's Android phones. However, we will be releasing a Geodelic app that works on many OS's and carriers in the near future.

Can't find DroidEspn (ESPN Radio app) or Camera FX Zoom. I have searched by name and QR code and find nothing. They are there according to others but I can't find them. Any suqgestions?
