ADW Launcher EX

The HTC Sense widget is a after market widget on Droid X and if you are thinking of Beautiful Widget, that widget and others you asked about should work fine, you can add them the same way you do the stock launcher, press and hold and select from list.

i long pressed and selected widgets, but the htc weather and the bookmarks or favorites don't show up. i went around the contacts and bookmarks favorites by just adding bookmark and direct dial shortcuts to one of the home screens....and got weatherbug for weather...for now. it'll do, but i loved htc's weather widget for the animations. nothing i have found on the market looks anywhere near as cool.

I thought Beautiful Widgets was supposed to be similar to the HTC clock and weather widgets, although I understand that HTC intervened on that with the developer. No?

Beautiful widgets does have the combined clock and weather and some of the skins look very similar to HTC's widget. They also have an add on to enable the animations.

Looking forward to Anderweb's widgets, supposedly on the way...

thx all....i went ahead and got beautiful widgets. i felt a bit silly paying for a widget to make it look like htc sense (just for a simple weather widget), but this launcher is too sweet to go back to the stock htc launcher!!!!!

I have been staying with the first build of BW any havent used the new build because I really like the original weather, I am wondering what animation does the plug in add and where is it located to try?

It adds a best little animation to the weather widget, you have to open the weather widget to see it.

The animation is called BW animation pack. There is also Beautiful Live Weather, which puts live weather on the homepage. All of this is in the app market.

Thank you, I may need to investigate further, I was hoping it added the flip andimation, I miss that... I know its pointless but it was so nice to have.
